reactivates: (3x12 "Stand") ([angry]; standing ground)
[Oh look, Claudia's back on the network. She looks pissed. There is no vibrant color streak in her hair. If one were to look closely enough there may, in fact, be tear-stains on her cheeks. Obviously this visit home went very not-as-planned.]

I'm back. Willow, we need to talk. I gave you an assignment before I left. Did you do it?

Tim, thanks for watching.... [She looks down. Swallows. Like this is hard to say.] Jinks.. for me. You can drop him back at my cabin whenever...

[Private to Admiral]

I'm changing my deal. I'm bringing Steve back.

[SPAM for around the Barge]

[One might see Claudia around, yes. Though she's a very angry whirlwind right now, hurrying from place to place without so much as a friendly smile to anyone. The snarky fun girl has turned into all-business plus a side of rage girl.

Even at the dining table, she practically inhales her meal in order to leave and go somewhere else.

Most often, she's found in the library doing research or running laps in the gym (it helps blow off steam, okay?). Catch her if you can!

reactivates: (3x11 "Emily Lake") ([blank]; I'm listening)
[She clears her throat before she speaks, though when she does it's apparent she's completely over that cold/flu/whatever now.]

'Sup, it's Claudia. Just wanted to give everyone the announcement, since my inmate hasn't yet. Willow's gotten her soul back. She got it around the time of the last flood. So, yeah, that's it, you may now return to your irregularly scheduled Barge programming. Claudia out.
reactivates: It's what I does. (2x03 "Beyond Our Control") ([work]; takin' shit apart)
[Claudia's laying on her bed, holding her communicator in her hand as she starts it up.] Alright. Sooo, I'll be the first to admit I've been kind of hermit-y this past week, and I apologize for that. But from the sounds and looks of it, something bad's gone down recently and honestly it's got me a liiiittle spooked.

[She sits up, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, looking for a moment to the side, eyeing her door.] ...What the frakk is going on out there?

[ Warden Filter: ]

Okay. So. I've got a gun. Sort of. It's a Mini-Tesla and to put it simply it works sort of like a taser only more powerful and from farther away. But it's only mildly comforting. I'm kinda hoping there's someone out there that might be able to teach me some, uh, hand-to-hand defense stuff? Warning: I am clumsy. This should not be done around fragile objects.

But, yeah, someone mentioned earlier about Wardens sharing their knowledge, so. I can give something in return, seriously. Just think of me as excellent tech support. In fact, I've already been fiddling around with my own communicator thingy and I've rigged it to take different ringtones for different people, sort of similar to the way cell phones do. Assuming you know what a cell phone is. Anyway, lemme know if you want me to hook yours up with the nifty feature?
reactivates: (3x08 "The 40th Floor") ({mandy} 07)
[Sigh.] An unfortunate turn of events. And what a storm, too. I mean, trees fell? Is everyone okay?

...Well, at least it gives me some extra time to go through my lines, and rehearse the musical number. But first I need coffee. A caramel frappe, to be specific. Extra high both in caffeine and in sugar. Because Claudia is hyper. Anyone wanna join me?

[OOC: Claudia is Amanda Lee Corsini. Professionally known as "Amanda Lee", but informally referred to as "Mandy" (or, if you're a close friend, "Panda"). Obviously she's brand-spankin'-new to this cast. This is her first studio gig, previously she's only been in theater. Mostly musical theater. She's a dork but is trying very, very hard to hide it, and fit in, and be celebrity-grade "cool". But by entering the world of television, she's basically left all of her former friends behind (her theater group), so she's really very lost. And she's constantly got her head in a magazine for style tips. (At least when in public, alone she's more likely to be reading Steampunk-y action stories. Or mystery novels, particularly ones that star a deceptively intelligent feline.)]
reactivates: (Eureka 4x05 "Crossing Over") ([neutral]; really?)
[The video shows a redhead with a slightly tilted smile, her expression clearly stating a level of awkwardness about this whole thing. She's got a single streak of purple in her shoulder-length hair, and multiple earrings in both ears. She's sitting in the middle of her made (but not quite neatly) bed with her legs crossed, hugging a pillow to her chest. Behind her on the walls are several band posters - all from different genres, a rather eclectic mix.]

Whelp. This is new. Hi. I'm Claudia. Uhm. I'd mention something about having never been on a boat before, and how I'm really hoping I'm not prone to seasickness, but, uh... Funny thing is, there's no water. -- Yeah, I'm pretty sure you've all already noticed that before but it's new to me, so I'm mentioning it. You know you should really just give a pamphlet out instead of having the Admiral explain things. Dude left a lot of stuff out. -- Anyway, back on subject: air-travel I'm used to. Planes, I'm used to. And I've yet to get plane-sick. So here's hoping that getting space-slash-time-slash-dimension-sick won't be likely, either.

[She fiddles idly with one of her rings as she thinks about what to say next. Well, the truth wouldn't hurt when she's here, so...] So, yeah... I'm a Warehouse agent. Er. Was. Was a Warehouse agent. Probably most of you haven't heard of Warehouse 13, but... Suffice to say, I dealt with the strange, freaky, mysterious, and often dangerous, on a daily basis. And have already had more than one near-death experience, so. Yay. Fun times. [Sometimes she talks a lot when she's nervous, and that's probably becoming pretty apparent right now.] Basically what I'm trying to say is, I'm easy to underestimate. But I can totally take care of myself. And, uh...

Okay, this is getting long-ish, I know. And I don't wanna be one of those YouTube video bloggers that just stutter out a stream of consciousness for like five whole minutes just because they like the sound of their own voice, so... Yeah. This is me, saying, uh... See ya later? [She gives an awkward little wave, then appears to immediately regret it, muttering "That was mildly traumatic," while turning off the recording.]
