[It's been a while since Claudia's face has been seen on the Network, it's true. And the look on said face at the moment is one of mild amusement. Her hair is rather a mess, no colored streak, no jewelry even (except for the multiple ear-piercings of course, and the SD card on a cord around her neck). She appears to be in her room, which is much tidier now than when it was previously seen. She's got a Jinksie in her lap, currently washing his face with his paw.]

S'up, bitches? Seems like things got kinda exciting around here while I was KO'd. What the hell happened, a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure flood?

[At least she isn't completely anti-social like she'd been before. She's still very obviously got something heavy weighing on her shoulders, but she's not letting it bury her under anymore. This is Claudia attempting to resurface.]

And there's some new faces around, which.. I guess is pretty much to be expected. [She points at the screen:] New faces -- [and points at herself.] -- Claudia Donovan. Techie secret agent cyber hacker punk rocker chick with a hint of fabulous, if I do say so myself. [She then looks down at the cat in her lap.] And this is Jinks. He enjoys licking himself while being recorded. Apparently. [In babytalk:] Who's my little exhibitionist? You are! Yes, you are!

[ooc: She didn't do any privately-filtered things because she's actually unsure exactly how long she's been out and is almost afraid to address anyone directly just in case they forgot her/left/don't care about her anymore, fff.]
reactivates: (3x08 "The 40th Floor") ([neutral]; you okay?)
[Sittin' in her bed back in her cabin, drinking some juice through a pink double-heart-shaped crazy-straw. Her hair is a little messy (though she does have a pink streak in it) and she looks pale, but otherwise there's no leftover visible trace of her illness from the last few days. (Don't ask her how she got flu-type sickness in space. From port, maybe? She hasn't thought too hard on the how yet.) There is, however, an audible trace - her voice sounds lower than usual, and still sort of congested.]

Uhm. Sorry I've been AWOL from the Network for a while, you guys. I was kind of down for the count. To be honest, it was kinda good timing? But also bad timing. Eh, never mind. It was neutral timing. But weird. Guess I called it on the space-sickness though, huh? [A grin here, though she knows that wasn't the type of sickness she was referring to when she first arrived on the Barge.]

How much did I miss, anyway? Fill me in, pretty please? My eyes are still too tired to go back-tracking.

[Private to Merlin]
Thank you.

[Private to Dracula]
I seem to recall you leaving me a message, but for the life of me I can't even remember what was going on. You doing okay?

[Private to Dean]
Thanks for hauling my ass to the medical ward during the worst of it, despite my protesting. I did manage to get back before Willow got soul-ified, so all's good here. Or mostly good, anyway.

[Private To Arthur ([personal profile] paradoxlol)]:

So somehow I missed previously that you'd uh... Been killed? Thanks to Willow. Aaand I noticed you were talking to her about level zero. I'm just gonna straight-out ask you if you'd... please not bring that to the other wardens' attention? I mean, yeah, she did bad, she did... very bad. I got bit, too. But one: she already got staked, and that's a pretty hefty punishment in itself, I think. And two: after being bed-ridden for several days, I don't think an additional period of isolation is going to do her any good redemption-wise. And if it's safety you're worried about, I promise I can watch her. I'm already planning on escorting her to her cabin. It's right down the hall from mine too, so... Should make the watching easy.

[Private to Angua ([personal profile] scentbombed) and Buffy ([personal profile] slayage)]:

You may or may not have already figured out I was your extra person in the dining hall the other night. And I haven't actually told anyone about it and honestly? I don't plan to. So if you're worried about that... Well, don't.

Anyway, I'm contacting you because I have a request to make. I think it would be in Willow's best interest (strictly as an inmate here for eventual redemption) that she not be sent to level zero. Not now that she's been bed-ridden for several days thanks to death-toll, I mean. Isolation is only going to help so much. I really, truly, honestly think what she needs is normal human interaction.

I've already explained to her that misbehaving will mean going to level zero and she's shown she... really, really does not want that. I don't think she's going to be wreaking havoc any time soon. Even so, I do promise to keep an eye on her myself, since her cabin happens to be right down the hall from my own. And I'm actually planning on escorting her from the infirmary in a bit here, too.

So... Yeah, I realize I can't stop you from drawing the other wardens' and the Admiral's attention to what Willow has already done. But I can ask you not to suggest she be put in level zero, and I've given you my reasons why. So. I hope you'll be understanding about it all.

Have you ever tried so hard not to think about something until it's all you can think about?

[Sigh.] Yeah, it's official: I have got the homesick. Artie, Pete, Myka, Josh, Leena... Steve. And Artie would kill me for saying it, but I kind of miss H.G. as well. Uh, not that you guys haven't been great so far! I gotta say: I really appreciate all of you that volunteered to help me with the whole defense thing.

Oh, hey, that reminds me. Is a warden allowed to kill an inmate? I mean, on purpose. Not in self-defense. And this is just a hypothetical-type question here! [Lies. She witnessed Buffy staking Willow the other night. And honestly she hasn't been able to sleep since, which is why she's doing this entry voice instead of video - along with the bandage on the side of her neck, she's also got that crappy sleepless/zombie look going on.] 'Cause personally I don't think that's such a brilliant idea.

...And it would be all kinds of helpful if some of you would tell me what you know about vampires.

[OOC: Claudia does indeed know how to use filters. For the question regarding warden ethics, she actually wants to hear all opinions - including inmates'. And she didn't think the request for vampire knowledge really needed a filter. /SHRUG.]
