[It's been a while since Claudia's face has been seen on the Network, it's true. And the look on said face at the moment is one of mild amusement. Her hair is rather a mess, no colored streak, no jewelry even (except for the multiple ear-piercings of course, and the SD card on a cord around her neck). She appears to be in her room, which is much tidier now than when it was previously seen. She's got a Jinksie in her lap, currently washing his face with his paw.]

S'up, bitches? Seems like things got kinda exciting around here while I was KO'd. What the hell happened, a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure flood?

[At least she isn't completely anti-social like she'd been before. She's still very obviously got something heavy weighing on her shoulders, but she's not letting it bury her under anymore. This is Claudia attempting to resurface.]

And there's some new faces around, which.. I guess is pretty much to be expected. [She points at the screen:] New faces -- [and points at herself.] -- Claudia Donovan. Techie secret agent cyber hacker punk rocker chick with a hint of fabulous, if I do say so myself. [She then looks down at the cat in her lap.] And this is Jinks. He enjoys licking himself while being recorded. Apparently. [In babytalk:] Who's my little exhibitionist? You are! Yes, you are!

[ooc: She didn't do any privately-filtered things because she's actually unsure exactly how long she's been out and is almost afraid to address anyone directly just in case they forgot her/left/don't care about her anymore, fff.]

[A part of her really wants to just avoid leaving her room, but. Not gonna lie, she is starving. Eventually she opens the door, planning on heading down the hall to the dining room, when she runs directly into Willow. She should probably be used to this by now, having the vampire just.. standing there outside her door. Seems like it happens an awful lot.

She smiles and hooks her arm in the other girl's. (She's actually really happy to find Will outside her door, it lets her know that things are still pretty much the same, so she couldn't have been out of it for too long.]

Wanna escort me to the dining hall? We'll get you some jus de l'homme and me a hamburger and I won't even lose my appetite this time.

Except you were participating as opposed to watching, right? So it was a Choose-Your-Own-Indiana-Jones-esque-Adventure. Or a live-action game of Tomb Raider, whichever. I admit I'm a little jealous I missed it.

I seem to recall someone telling me that floods and such don't often repeat themselves, so... You're probably good on that front. Me, on the other hand, I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with playing video games and watching old Indiana Jones movies.

Fair enough. At least, as far as I'm aware, video games haven't ever killed anyone.

...Although one almost did earlier this year when a friend of mine decided using an artifact to enhance the video game experience would be a good idea. Spoilers: It wasn't.

You're probably referring to my inmate, Willow. And yeah, she defended her pet. It was a step up for her, actually, because it meant she cared enough about something to defend it. Plus, the other chick was warned, okay? I stand behind Willow in that decision. Say nasty things about the people I care about to my face and I wouldn't respond too well either. [No hostile or anything, it's all said pretty matter-of-factly, and she even gives a light shrug.]
