....That said, she is going to slip the homework beneath Claudia's door. There's a lot of words there - angry, hurt, abandoned, monstrous - all crossed off (if not as well as they could be), along with a hastily criss crossed left behind.
Another page has her real feelings - tiny writing she didn't really want to say; happy; free; unjudged; alive. ...And maybe, in a little corner, weak.
By the look of the book, though, it's been tossed aside at least once.]

It's not fair to them to have a warden who hates them, and it's not fair to us to have someone holding us hostage here because they're too stubborn to change behavior that is clearly hurting everyone around them.
Honestly, I think you've been doing fine with her so far. What are you running into issues with?
